In the Know: Spending limits for candidates

MANILA, Philippines—A candidate for president and vice president may spend P10 for every registered voter, according to Resolution No. 9476 of the Commission on Elections.

For other candidates with political parties, each can spend P3 for every voter registered in their constituency while independent candidates can spend up to P5 for every voter in their constituency.

Political parties and party-list groups may spend P5 for every voter registered in the constituency or constituencies where they have official candidates.
