MANILA, Philippines —The Senate  blue ribbon committee on Thursday resumed its investigation into the  P10-billion “pork  barrel” scam with Justice Secretary Leila de Lima expected  to  present  the whistle-blowers.

De Lima was subpoenaed by the Senate to produce Benhur Luy  and other whistle-blowers after she failed to bring them during the hearing Tuesday.

That hearing was abruptly suspended after its chairman, Senator Teofisto  Guingona III, gave De Lima a dressing down for  failing to bring the witnesses.

Guingona then issued the subpoena to compel their attendance at the hearing this Thursday.
