THE Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI), in partnership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) – Commerce and Industry Sector, announced that it will hold its 2013 annual national convention on Sept. 19-21 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The three-day conference will start with the keynote address of Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III about ACPACI’s theme this year, Rising to the Challenge, and technical sessions on impact of Philippine Financial Reporting and Standards on tax rules, tax updates and enterprise resource planning.
Seminars about inspiring non-Accounting topics like Evolving Entrepreneurial Mindset and Striking Work/Family Balance are also the highlights of the conference.
Over a hundred ACPACI and PICPA members from Luzon and Cebu, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, notable speakers and discussants, students, teachers and guests will be in attendance.
There will be a city tour covering sites like Taoist Temple, Magellan’s Cross, Sto. Niño Church, among others. The Bohol Day tour will be held after the conference proper.
This convention is a great opportunity to learn about the latest issues and trends in Accounting, taxation and business.
