Estrada accuses critics of “mind conditioning the public”

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Jinggoy Estrada on Monday said he is not worried about the accusations hurled against him in connection with the pork barrel scam, dismissing them as “mind conditioning.”

“They are conditioning the minds of the public, that we are the worst thieves. That, I cannot accept,” Estrada said in a televised press conference.

The senator said he is ready to answer charges that will be filed against him.

The press conference coincided with the submission of boxfuls of evidence on the scam by the Department of Justice to the Ombudsman against those allegedly involved in the misuse of the pork barrel, or the Priority Development Assistance Fund.
