POWERED by Jingjing Rama’s blazing guns, the Park n’ Go Bakeshoppe routed Labarca Trading, 139-106, while Water Market of Vez Eleguin nipped AKIRA, 74-70, Tuesday night to advance to the semifinal round of the Power Forty President’s Cup-2013 basketball tournament at the Emilio Jaca gym in Inayawan, Cebu City.

In the knockout Final 4 round, Water Market faces HLY-Friends of Atty. Flor Yosores while Park n’ Go battles AMBL Enterprises & Advertising

Rama exploded with 26 points including 15 points in the opening half all from beyond the arc. He also had five assists and seven rebounds for Park n’ Go.

Al Misa and former SWU Cobra Michael Arias backed Rama in the scoring chores with 24 and 20 points, respectively. Tony Ungria and Teody Ebrado led Labarca Trading with 29 and 27, respectively.

While the first game was a sleeper, the second was a dogfight.

After the first period ended in a 27-all deadlocked, the Water Dealers uncorked a blistering 34-18 run in the second for a huge 16 points lead, 61-45, at the half.

AKIRA responded with a 25-13 run in the third to close in at 70-74. It was at this juncture that AKIRA walked out of the game as they blamed the referees for being biased.
