WITH THE race for the Final Four in the UAAP heating up with each playing date, a new controversy has cropped up, one that may have dire repercussions for the defending champions Ateneo Blue Eagles.

According to a report that was posted on Spin.ph, suspended Ateneo head coach Bo Perasol was allegedly spotted at the Mall of Asia Arena during their game against the University of the East Red Warriors last Sunday.

According to league rules, suspended personnel are barred from showing up at the venues during games and violation of said rule merits a forfeiture of a won game.

Perasol was suspended for a game for his actions after their game against La Salle more than a week ago. Ateneo won over UE, 77-72, in that game, eliminating the Red Warriors from contention for a Final Four slot.
