ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) forces holding 35 residents hostage in Sta. Catalina village freed one of two children they have been holding captive since Monday dawn.
Freed was 10-year-old Daniel Ramirez.
The MNLF faction led by founding chairman Nur Misuari attacked Zamboanga City on Monday, saying they were protesting the failure of the Philippine government to implement the 1996 peace agreement
