LBC branch in Parañaque City robbed
MANILA, Philippines—Roughly P10,000 was lost when two men robbed an LBC branch in Parañaque City Friday afternoon, police said.
Senior Superintendent Ariel Andrade, Parañaque police chief, said the suspects pretended as customers and later declared a holdup in Barangay Sto. Niño around 2:30 p.m. One of the suspects was armed with a caliber .38 pistol.
No one was hurt from the incident, he said, adding the suspects escaped with their loot onboard a motorcycle.
Andrade said police were reviewing a CCTV footage for possible identification of the suspects—one was seen wearing a cap while the other had a helmet on.
