PDEA nabs alleged woman drug pusher in Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines–A suspected female drug pusher listed on the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s regional priority target was arrested following a buy-bust operation in Iloilo City, an anti-narcotics official said Thursday.

PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac Jr. said Rizalina De Lorete, alias Rizalina Porras/Nene Asiong, 40, was arrested inside her house at Zone 5, Boulevard, Molo, Iloilo City around 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.

During her arrest, authorities found in her possession five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.

The money used during the drug sting was also recovered, he added.

De Lorete will be facing cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
