SEAMAN’S HOUSE BURGLED
VALUABLES worth at least P75,000 were stolen from a seaman’s home when it was burgled by unidentified thieves in Gentlepeace Subdivision in Barangay Lawaan II, Talisay City, southern Cebu.
Rogelio Neri, 49, reported the theft to the Talisay City Police Station.
Neri said they were sleeping when the thieves struck at dawn yesterday.
Stolen items included a laptop worth P17,000, four cellphones worth P48,000 and P3,500 cash. /CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
3 NABBED FOR DRUGS
THREE persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue cities.
Jeffrey Patalinjug allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu worth P400 to a poseur-buyer when he was arrested in sitio Humay-Humay, barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu past 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said 15 packs of suspected shabu were recovered from Patalinjug’s possession.
Police said they had been monitoring the suspect for several days before the arrest was made.
In Mandaue, two men were arrested by operatives of the Casuntingan Police Station 4 while they were allegedly selling shabu to a poseur-buyer.
Eric Baranggan, 25, and Leomar Delloso, 26, both residents of Casuntingan, were arrested past 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Police recovered from the two men four packs believed to contain shabu and drug-sniffing paraphernalia. /CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V.MENDOZA
