MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine National Police (PNP) General Hospital started accepting for poor dengue patients, PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr. said Friday.

“The PNP General Hospital in Camp Crame has opened its doors to indigent dengue patients in need of medical care and treatment of mosquito-borne disease,” said Cruz adding that it was a Department of Health (DOH) accredited tertiary hospital.

Cruz said PNP Chief Director General Raul Bacalzo has instructed the mobilization of PNP resources to assist the DOH and concerned local government units in containing the outbreak.
