The training course dubbed “Internal Security Operation Unit Enhancement

Police Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac said the trainees would be composed of 275 officers from the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB), 37 from the Cavite Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC), 53 from Laguna PPSC, 55 from Batangas PPSC and 52 from Quezon PPSC.

“The manner of the PNP ISO training is not designed to develop killing machines, but to make the trainees withstand all pressures at extreme conditions,” Police Director Alex Paul Monteagudo, PNP Director for Operations said.

He said the course will shape its trainees to become better in the job they do.

Monteagudo said the trainees will be taught how to become physically fit and mentally awake despite most pressuring moments.

It will also sharpen the minds of the cops and will develop camaraderie among them, and with the community as well, he added.

“The standard set forth for them is aimed to come up with highly disciplined, effective and efficient PNP member,” Monteagudo said.
