AMBL climbs to solo 2nd in Power Forty caging

THE Allan Lim-led AMBL Enterprises & Advertising crushed Water Market of Vez Eleguin, 114-102, Tuesday night to climb to solo second with 6-3 card behind pacesetter HLY-Friends of Atty. Flor Yosores (7-2) in the Power Forty President’s Cup-2013 basketball tournament at the Inayawan gym.

AMBL led from start to finish in beating Water Market which before the match tied with similar 5-3 marks. It led 39-23 in the first period and 61-43 at the half.

Water Market unloaded a 35-25 bomb in the third to trim its deficit to just 8 points, 78-86 heading to the fourth where AMBL retaliated with a 28-22 rally for the 12-point win.

Robert Abasolo and Gogo Fuentes led AMBL with 30 and 23 points, respectively, while Adot Tabar and Cards Vernaiz paced Water Market (5-4) with 22 and 20 markers.
