Manrico “Bong” Acuña Embile Jr., a professor of University of Eastern Philippines in Catarman, Northern Samar, died on Tuesday at Makati Medical Center in Makati City due to a lingering illness. He was 44.
Embile, a former theater actor of Repertory Philippines, is survived by his sisters, Gloria, Gemma and Gina.
His body lies at Veronica Memorial Chapel, 517 Arnaiz Avenue, Pasay City, and will be flown to Catarman, possibly on Saturday.
Interment will be announced later.
