MANILA, Philippines — Authorities are on their way to Camp Crame in Quezon City to fetch Janet Lim-Napoles after a Makati judge ruled Thursday that she should be put in the city jail.
Makati regional trial court Judge Elmo Alameda issued the order to the Philippine National Police-Crime Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG).
Napoles will be arraigned on September 9 at 1:30 p.m.
Napoles is the alleged mastermind behind the alleged P10 billion misuse of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or pork barrel by several legislators that involved channeling the money to bogus nongovernment organizations.
