Suharto’s great granddaughter sent to drug rehab

JAKARTA, Indonesia—The great granddaughter of late Indonesian dictator General Suharto is being sent to drug rehab.

Putri Aryanti Haryowibowo was ordered to spend one year at a drug rehabilitation center Thursday after being convicted of using illegal drugs.

This was the second drug case involving his family. In 2000, Putri’s mother, Gusti Maya Firanti Noor, was sentenced to eight months in jail for possessing amphetamines.
