FEATURED STORIES

One team will finally get to go home with a victory today as the luckless University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers tangle in the 13th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. men’s basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.

In the juniors division, the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers aim to tighten their hold on their second place standing when they battle the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens in the match that starts at 5 p.m.

The silver lining to today’s encounter is that one squad will get to breathe in the sweet smell of victory while one will continue to languish in the pits of defeat.

On paper, UC appears to have the upper hand with the presence of veteran gunners Kim Gomez and Jan Auditor along with up-and-coming wingman, Noel Villanueva.
