The fire broke out at 5:30 p.m., said SFO2 Socrates Cane. The fire was contained in three minutes.

Cane said it was possible that someone threw a lighted cigarette butt into the storage room where there was spilled gasoline on the floor.

Cane added that someone was patching up a flat tire near the storage room when the fire broke out.

Damage was pegged at P60,000.

In barangay Nailon, Bogo City, fire razed the kitchen of a house owned by Perkic Jo Alburo.

Alburo and his wife had just arrived home when they saw that the kitchen was already on fire.
