/ 05:06 AM August 26, 2013

MANILA, Philippines—The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority suspended its unified vehicular volume reduction (color coding) program on Monday in Metro Manila as the country observes National Heroes Day, a holiday.

In a twitter advisory, MMDA said the lifting of the coding scheme includes Makati City and Las Piñas.

Permitted to ply the major thoroughfares are vehicles with license plates ending in 1 and 2, which would have been barred if the color coding scheme were in effect.
