DZIQ: Child dead in Manila fire
MANILA, Philippines— A four-year-old boy was found dead after a fire hit a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila, Wednesday morning, according to a report by Radyo Inquirer.
Fire authorities identified the victim as Adam Johan Tolentino, 4, whose house was one of four houses that were razed by the fire which hit a residential area along P. Florentino Street at around 9:12 a.m.
Bureau of Fire Protection Chief Major Bonifacio Carta said the houses were made up of light materials.
The fire that reached 5th alarm was declared under control at 9:46 a.m., the radio report said.
