Twin car bombs kill 27, wound 352 in Lebanon’s Tripoli

TRIPOLI—Two powerful car bombs, that went off minutes apart, killed at least 27 people and wounded another 352 in Lebanon’s main northern city of Tripoli on Friday, Health Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said.

“Up to now, there are 27 martyrs and 352 wounded in hospitals,” the minister said on television, without saying whether this was the final toll.
