A LABORER was killed after the truck he was riding rammed a concrete railing in barangay Cansamuroy, Balamban town, western Cebu.
Police identified the fatality as Oscar Saraosos, 44, of barangay San Roque, Talisay City.
Police said the laborer was aboard a truck driven by 49-year-old Saturnino Villordon.
The truck was supposed to deliver lumber to barangay Sunog.
The truck was negotiating a curve when its brake malfunctioned causing the truck to ram into road railings.
Saraosos was declared dead when he and the driver were brought to the Balamban District Hospital./CORRESPONDENT CHRISTINE EMILY L. PANTALEON
