Faigao workshop accepts entries
THE Cebuano Studies Center announced the opening of its 2013 Fellowship competition.
The center awards 15 creative writing fellowships to the Cornelio Faigao Memorial Annual Writers Workshop every October.
The Faigao workshop is open for submissions until Sept. 30. Applicants may submit seven poems and a short story or a one-act play in English or Cebuano.
Entries must be typed double spaced in Arial or New Times Roman font size 12 with 1 inch margin on all sides; entries must not bear the name of the author; a soft copy encoded in MS Word on CD (or as an attachment if sent via email).
These will be submitted along with resume with 2×2 photo, application letter and author’s explanation why he/she wants to be a writer to the Cebuano Studies Center, University of San Carlos Talamban Campus or online at [email protected].
