Several areas in Manila still flooded – MMDA

MANILA, Philippines—Several areas in the city of Manila were still flooded Wednesday due to torrential rains even as tropical storm “Maring” has already left the country Wednesday morning, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

In a Twitter advisory, MMDA said that as of 12 noon, the following areas were still flooded:

Quirino-Taft – gutter deep

Quirino-Pedro Gil (northbound)- gutter deep

Romualdez-Ayala – gutter deep

It also said Lagusnilad is not passable to all types of vehicles, while R. Papa is not passable only to light vehicles.
