MAN KILLED IN CEBU CITY
AN unemployed man was shot dead in barangay Pasil, Cebu City yesterday morning.
Jasper Nacar Rosas, 35, a resident of barangay Mamabaling, Cebu City, succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.
SPO4 Rey Cuyos said they are struggling to find leads on the possible motives and identity of the assailant since the people who were in the area during the attack were uncooperative.
Police said the victim and his two male companions were walking along Garfield Street when the assailant opened fire.
A wounded Rosas was still able to run before he eventually slumped to the ground.
The victim’s companions ran after hearing the gunshot. Rosas was declared dead at the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC).

HABAL DRIVER SURVIVES ATTACK
A 22-YEAR-OLD habal-habal driver was shot by three motorcycle-riding assailants in barangay Pulpogan, Consolacion, town northern Cebu last Monday dawn.
Mharboy Bujos, a resident of barangay Basak, Mandaue City, survived the attack but sustained gunshot wound in the armpit.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Cebu City.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
