Twenty-eight people were injured when a passenger bus crashed into the rear of another bus and a concrete post of the Metro Rail Transit on Tuesday morning in Quezon City.

FEATURED STORIES

Paclar’s vehicle and a Unicab bus (CHJ 920) driven by Edgardo Tembal had just entered the loading bay in the area when the accident took place.

Paclar claimed the other bus cut his path from the right side, forcing him to swerve so he could avoid the Unicab bus.

The CEM bus, however, smashed into a concrete post of the MRT Cubao station, and the left rear side of the other bus.

Police said they are still investigating who should be held responsible, although both drivers could be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in multiple physical injuries and damage to property.
