Bataan placed under state of calamity

MANILA, Philippines — The province of Bataan was placed under state of calamity following the rains brought by the storm-enhanced southwest monsoon.

Governor Albert Garcia of Bataan declared the state of calamity in the province Tuesday morning, Glen Diwa of Office of Civil Defense Central Luzon confirmed to INQUIRER.net.

She said that the hardest hit in Bataan were the towns of Hermosa and Dinalupihan.
