Roads in Bataan, Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga impassable

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Philippines–Several sections of roads in Bataan have become impassable to light vehicles due to floods spawned by rains dumped by tropical storm Maring, the latest report from the Department of Public Works and Highways to the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council showed.

These were in Layac and Tuyo on Mariveles Road; Mandama, Cataning, Poblacion-Mabuco in Hermosa; Tabing Ilog in Samal; Mulawin in Orani; and Sta. Lucia, Mabatang and Capitangan in Abucay.

The Bigaa Plaridel Road in City of Malolos in Bulacan and along Panginay in Bulacan, Bulacan, have also become impassable, as of Tuesday.

The Manila North Road in Barangay Pandayan, also in Bulacan town, was not passable to all types of vehicles.

The Romulo Highway in Barangay Tuec in Camiling, Tarlac was not passable to all types of vehicles. In Pampanga, the situation was the same along the Baliwag-Candaba-Sta. Ana Road in Paligui, Candaba and Apalit-Macabebe-Masantol Road.

In the City of San Fernando, the capital of Pampanga, floodwaters rose to 1.5 feet along the Manila North Road in Garbes-Dizon section. A foot-high of floodwater inundated the Jasa- Lazatin Avenue in the same city.
