MANILA, Philippines—Work at the Senate was again suspended on Tuesday due to bad weather.
“To Senate employees: Work today, August 20, has been suspended due to the inclement weather. Please stay safe and let’s hope for a better weather,” Senate President Franklin Drilon said on his Twitter account.
Earlier on Monday, the Senate suspended its work as tropical storm Maring-induced southwest monsoon rains continued to pummel Metro Manila, causing floods in many parts of the metropolis.
