MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific have waived the rebooking penalties of passengers unable to take their flights on Monday due to floods and torrential rains, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.
An advisory released by PAL said they will be waiving rebooking fees within 30 days from the original flight date of the passengers.
“However, if a passenger rebooks a flight and booking class is not available, then fare difference will be collected,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific said the same for their “Luzon-based passengers” unable to take their August 19 flight.
They also announced the cancellation of the 5J 513/514 Manila-San Jose-Manila flights because of bad weather. The advisory said guests on these flights may also avail of a full travel fund or refund.
