MANILA, Philippines – A 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook South Cotabato Monday morning, but no aftershocks were expected, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the tremor was recorded 6:34a.m., nine kilometers southeast of Surallah.
The tectonic quake also had a depth of 386 kilometers.
No damages were also recorded from the moderate quake
