ROAD PROJECT IN LANDSLIDE-PRONE AREA DONE BY SEPT

Residents of Talisay City mountain barangays may soon get a reprieve from landslide threats as the road widening project that contributes to the risk is set to finish by the end of September.

The road project contractor Alan Quirante of QM Builders promised during the meeting with Mayor Johnny V. Delos Reyes to finish their work by September 30.

Movement of heavy equipment and earth moving in the road project has placed barangays Lagtang, Jaclupan, Campo 4 and Campo 7 very unstable./Correspondent Gabriel C. Bonjoc
