MANILA, Philippines — Mosquito traps set up by the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) in areas in the National Capital Region (NCR) with high dengue cases, are missing, a report from 990AM said Tuesday.
Dr. Teresita Fortuna, DoST-NCR office director was quoted in the report as saying that a number of mosquito traps may have either been stolen by the residents or were carried away by flood during the rainy days.
The report said that despite this, the DoST is continuously coordinating with different government agencies and local health workers on the anti-dengue information campaign.
