USC sbp nails 4th win in milo best

THE SMALL Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) squad of the University of San Carlos (USC) kept on rolling as it won its fourth game in a row after beating the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), 63-22, in the Milo best Center-backed Twin Tournament over the weekend at the USC North campus gym along Mango Avenue.

Antonio Czar Octaviano led USC with 12 points while Vince Razo added 10.

In other games of the SBP division, the University of the Visayas (UV) outlasted Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC), 32-26. Cebu Eastern College (CEC) also stopped SHS-AdC, 51-27.

In the Passerelle division, USC also won its second straight after it eked past the SHS-AdC, 67-62.

John Galinato led USC with 15 points while Scott Aying added 13.

In other Passerelle division games, UV jumped on Southwestern University, 72-10, while CEC stopped USJ-R, 93-36.  /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
