SC suspends work in Metro Manila courts due to ‘Labuyo’
MANILA, Philippines–The Supreme Court on Monday suspended work in all courts in Metro Manila due to Typhoon “Labuyo.”
Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez said court employees in Metro Manila including the Supreme Court suspended work as of 2:30 p.m. on orders of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.

The Court of Appeals, meanwhile, suspended work at 3 p.m.
Marquez said they will leave it up to the Executive Judges in provinces to determine whether to suspend work or not.
