Lovely Fe’s siblings, Jhean and Cherry, were also victorious in the 6k race.

Jhean won the race with a time of 29:13 while Cherry clocked 29:13 for second place. Maria Fe Ernane settled for third with a time of 33:56.

Robert Daang edged Kenyan Francis Kakui to dominate the 6k men’s side with a time of 20:55. Kakui logged a time of 24:05. Leonardo Arellano placed third with a time of 25:33.

Clint Selma and Shia Uy emerged the fastest in the 3k division with the times of 11:42 and 14:08, respectively.

The run was dedicated to the memory of the late Ramon Igaña Jr., who died of acute pulmonary embolism while participating in last year’s relay category of the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines. Igaña’s wife, Humility, spearheaded the staging of the race together with veteran race director Joel Baring of the Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts.

The proceeds of this event will be used to sponsor a deserving less-fortunate triathlete.
