Man shot dead on ‘killer road’

/ 03:45 AM August 12, 2013

A man was gunned down Sunday morning in front of a car showroom located on Quezon City’s so-called “killer highway.”

SPO1 Cristituto Zaldarriaga  of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit described the still unidentified victim—who died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds—as between 25 and 30 years old, of medium build and with fair skin. He was dressed in a green sweatshirt worn over a pair of brown shorts.

A security guard of the Ford showroom on Commonwealth Avenue discovered the victim’s body after he heard several shots ring out at 4:30 a.m. Sunday.—Jeannette I. Andrade
