ORMOC CITY—A 29-year-old Chinese-Filipino businessman was found dead with a gunshot wound in the nape inside his pick-up truck in Barangay San Pablo, Ormoc City, on Saturday morning.
The police said they suspected that robbery was the motive for the killing of Kris Dy, owner of Tsinoy’s Grill, a popular fast-food restaurant on Aviles Street.
A bag containing P24,000 was missing although the ring and bracelet worn by the victim were not taken by the perpetrators, police said.
Dy arrived from Cebu about 7 p.m. on Friday and proceeded to his restaurant where he collected P24,000 from his catering business. He later went out with his friends until midnight, the police said. /INQUIRER
