FEATURED STORIES

The University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers will try to take the solo lead in the standings as they battle the  University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors in the seniors division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc.  basketball tournament today at the Cebu Coliseum.

The Panthers have gone through some rough sailing in recent years but have shown that they are on their way back up, with stellar performances against the University of San Jose-Recoletos and the Southwestern University Cobras, whom they both beat to pad their tally to  2-0 (win-loss).

Leading their charge will be Giovanni Padillo, Cid Cortes and Sam Hermosa, who is expected to bounce back from his five-point showing against the Lancers.

USPF will be led by undersized power forward Fritz Dajalos who schooled the huge frontline of SWU to the tune of 20 points. Also there are Joseph Sedurifa, Randy Avila and the brothers Ferraren, James and Earvin.
