MANILA, Philippines -Two Cebu Pacific flights were canceled on Sunday due to bad weather, according to the Department of Transportation and Communication.
“[Canceled] flight due to bad weather at Naga: 5J-521 MNL-Naga and 5J-522 Naga-MNL,” the DOTC posted on their Twitter account at 2:18 p.m. on Sunday.
Typhoon “Labuyo” currently affects eastern Luzon with storm signal no. 3 up in Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Northern Quezon Province including Polilio Island, Aurora and Isabela, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s 11 a.m. weather bulletin.
“The eye of Typhoon ‘Labuyo’ was located based on all available data at 110 km North Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (15.0°N, 124.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 Kph and Gustiness of 185 kph,” said the state weather bureau in its 2 p.m. update.
