The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Service Administration said the LPA was observed 190 kilometers east of Davao City as of 4 a.m.
“Eastern Visayas and Caraga region will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides,” the weather bulletin said.
Meanwhile, Mimaropa (Mindoro Occidental and Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), Bicol region and the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are seen in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
“Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to southeast will prevail over northern and central Luzon and coming from the northeast to northwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate,” Pagasa said.
