Court of Appeals receives false bomb threat — report

MANILA, Philippines – Court of Appeals employees and justices were forced to leave their offices after receiving a false bomb threat on Wednesday.

Chief Security Ricky Regala told Radyo Inquirer 990AM that an anonymous female caller said a bomb was planted in the building.

The CA building, along Ma. Orosa Street in Ermita, Manila, was immediately evacuated as employees waited outside for the Manila Police District Explosives and Ordnance division to verify the threat.

However, the police and their K-9 units came out empty-handed after a thorough search around the compound.
