MANILA, Philippines – A man thought he had finally broken loose from a persistent hooker, who embraced and groped him while offering her sexual services, only to realize shortly afterward that the woman and her two accomplices, who acted like her pimps, had divested him of two cell phones and a wallet containing P3,000 in cash early Saturday in Quezon City, police said.
Luckily for the 23-year-old victim, whose identity the Philippine Daily Inquirer is withholding, policemen were patrolling nearby and the women were quickly apprehended.
Cubao police station commander Superintendent Ramon Pranada said the victim was walking on a pedestrian overpass at the intersection of Edsa and Aurora Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. Saturday when the “hooker” and her female companions approached and offered him their “services.”
But the man rejected the offer and continued walking, whereupon one of the women embraced and began groping him, Pranada said. Having divested the victim of his cell phones and wallet, the women then acted as if they had given up and walked away.
The victim noticed later on that his wallet and cell phone were gone and sought help from patrolling policemen, who apprehended the three women near the footbridge after the victim pointed them out to the cops, Pranada said.
