Flooded portion of NLEx not passable—MMDA

MANILA, Philippines—A portion of A. Bonifacio Avenue going towards North Luzon Expressway was not passable to all types of vehicles after it was submerged in over two-feet deep floodwater, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said as of 2:48 p.m. Saturday.

A low pressure area off General Santos City spawned isolated rain showers in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
