A MAN died while his female companion was injured after the motorcycle they were riding hit a car in barangay Basak, Mandaue City.
Police identified the fatality as Casimero Galanza.
Police said Galanza and Tonelyn Tarayo were headed to Consolacion town aboard a motorcycle when they met the accident past 10 p.m. Thursday.
Galanza was driving the motorcycle.
Police said that while traveling along M.C. Briones Street, Galanza accidentally hit from behind a Kia Sportage wagon with plate number JBU-480.
The impact threw Murcia and Tarayo from the motorcycle.
Paramedics from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (Eruf) brought Galanza and Tarayo to the Mandaue City Hospital where the driver was declared dead.
