Girl shot at home

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was wounded when an unidentified gunman attacked her inside her house in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.

The girl was shot in the buttocks.

Police said the victim was sleeping with her live-in partner Jasper Inot, 19, when an unidentified man broke into their house at around 2 a.m.

The woman told police that she saw a man firing at them.

The assailant fled after the attack.

Loreto sought help from barangay tanods.

The girl was taken to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital before she was moved to a hospital in Cebu City.

Inot told police that he could not think of a possible motive for the shooting and that he was clueless as to who could be responsible for the attack./CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
