Singer asks court to issue injunction vs business partner

CEBUANA singer Anna Marie Fegi and her husband aren’t done yet.

A day after filing a criminal complaint against officials of a music school they co-owned, the couple lodged a civil suit in court against their former business partners.

Fegi and Adam Michael Brown petitioned the Regional Trial Court in Cebu City to stop spouses Erwin and Sofia Quisido from operating the School of Rock as well as to render what is due them after the trial.

They are also seeking the issuance of a writ of preliminary injunction to enjoin the defendants from carrying out their duties in the school pending trial of the case.

They also asked the court to order the defendants to pay P400,000 in moral damages, P400,000 in nominal damages, P50,000 in exemplary damages, and P50,000 for attorney’s fees.

In filing the civil case, the plaintiffs said they want a “complete and comprehensive” accounting of the partnership finances and properties” between them and the defendants.

Last Wednesday, Fegi and Brown filed a complaint for grave coercion against the Quisidos who purportedly barred them from entering the premises of a music school which both parties co-owned.

The Quisidos said they believed it was proper to end their partnership with the Browns since there was no more trust and confidence between the parties.
