11 QC police officials affected by reshuffle
MANILA—The chief of the Quezon City Police District implemented Thursday the first of a series of reshuffles as part of his mission to find the right man for the job at hand.
Affected by the reorganization were 11 police officials whose performance was assessed in terms of crime prevention, the arrest of wanted persons and the general situation in their area.
QCPD director Chief Superintendent Richard Albano clarified, however, that the revamp did not mean these officials were remiss in their duties. “This is not to punish or reward them. Rather, this is matching the right man [with] the right position,” he said.
“We also want to give them a chance to experience and handle other duties like operations, investigation and staff duties,” Albano added.
He said other revamps may be announced in the coming weeks as police officials were continuously being assessed this year.
