A 24-YEAR-OLD man was shot by a man whom he allegedly caught burglarizing his cousin’s house in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.
Eddie Pangatungan was shot in the left thigh.
Pangatungan told police that he saw a man break into the house of his cousin at 3:30 a.m. yesterday.
Pangatungan shouted for help prompting the intruder to flee.
The victim chased the burglar, who then fired shots at him.
The victim was taken to the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital.
