Aquino, Binay keep high trust, approval ratings – Pulse Asia

MANILA, Philippines— President Benigno Aquino III and Vice President Jejomar Binay continue to enjoy high approval and trust ratings from a large majority of Filipinos, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey.

Binay got a 78 percent average approval nationwide while Aquino had 73 percent approval.

Both Aquino and Binay also received a “big trust” rating with 77 percent and  78 percent, respectively.

FEATURED STORIES

Former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile got an approval rating from 54 percent of the population and a 53 percent trust rating.

Speaker Feliciano Belmonte and Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno had an approval rating of 38 and 37 percent, respectively. Both also had a 38 percent trust rating.

Pulse Asia’s June 2013 Ulat ng Bayan Survey was conducted from June 20 to July 4, 2013 through face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults all over the country.
